While driving to Amsterdam last friday, I heard this interview on the dutch radio about contact adds for (mostly) rabbits.

Only in the Netherlands, right ? Thats what I thought at first as well but apparently there was a very animal-friendly idea behind it.

Earlier this year, the animal shelter in Utrecht became totally swamped with small, furry animals. Too many bunnies, not enough takers. Things were looking bad for the little bunniewabbits.

However, some creative intern came up with the original idea to not only create contact adds for the little animals but also post them on YouTube.

The movies have been on the net for about three months now and almost all the animals have found a good home (hopefully …).

Now isnt THAT some good news to end the weekend with ?
